A third layer generates automatically a ‘history on history’ layer: Changed, New and Deleted rows are stored with a Valid Date (from/to), a Valid Indicator and a Surrogate Key. eXtractorONE uses the location in the source document as a Primary Key which is often sufficient to determine changes. eXtractorONE also provides the capability to configure manually primary keys if the automatic generation doesn’t meet the criteria.
